Former Swedish Minister for Infrastructure Catharina Elmsäter-Svärd and Anna Borg, SVP Nordics at Klarna, elected as new members of the board of directors of the electricity network company Ellevio.
Catharina Elmsäter-Svärd brings with her among other things 35 years of experience in politics, of which the last four years, from 2010 to 2014 as Sweden’s Minister for Infrastructure to her new assignment on the board of Ellevio. Before that she was the Finance Commissioner in the Stockholm County Council and prior to that a Member of Parliament for twelve years. Since 2015, Elmsäter-Svärd runs her own company where she acts as advisor in infrastructure, logistics, public transport, and transport. Elmsäter-Svärd is also among other things Chairman of the Institute for Futures Studies and Chairman of Drive Sweden.
Anna Borg is today Senior Vice President Nordics at Klarna, where she is responsible for business and customer relations in the Nordics, with focus on development. Before joining Klarna, she worked at Vattenfall where she among other things headed the electricity and heat sales business in Scandinavia. Borg is also a member of the board of Stena Renewable. To the board of directors of Ellevio, Anna Borg thus brings with her experience both from the Swedish and Nordic energy industry, from sales to many different customer groups, and from leading and developing businesses and organisations.

Sören Mellstig, Chairman, Ralph Berg, Anna Borg, Catharina Elmsäter-Svärd, Jens Henriksson, Colin Hood, Nicola Shaw, Pamela Sundin and Patrik Widén. When Anna Borg och Catharina Elmsäter-Svärd joins the borad, Bengt Hellström, Third National Pensions Fund, and Oskar Backman, First National Pensions Fund will become deputy board members, with active roles in the board committees.
