Shareholders representing approximately 87 percent of the shares and votes of Elverket have accepted the offer as of August 17. To allow remaining shareholders to accept the offer Ellevio extends the acceptance deadline until September 29, 2017.
- I am very glad to see that an overwhelming majority has chosen to accept our offer and we therefore choose to proceed with the offer. We are convinced that, with our long-term perspective and already strong foundation in the Stockholm area, we are a very good owner of Elverket Vallentuna. Our ambition is to invest in a reliable and smart power grid for all customers and we look forward to working with and taking good care of the great competence and knowledge in the company. With Ellevio as an owner, electricity grid prices in Elverket Vallentuna will remain unchanged for the vast majority until the end of 2019, ie throughout the current regulatory period. Our goal is that Elverket will become a wholly owned company within Ellevio, and we will keep the offer open until September 29 to allow remaining shareholders to take a stand before the offer expires, says Johan Lindehag, CEO of Ellevio.
